Character William Evans, his relationship with Raj Rivera, and his backstory

The silver-eyed Raj Rivera is crying while glowing violet-eyed William is trying to comfort him, holding onto his arm while blushing heavily. William has long brown hair that's a little wavy, pale skin, and freckles. He wears an orange shirt with fuchsia v-neck lining and a fuchsia four-pointed star/sparkle on the chest. Raj has silver-white anime hair color and dark brown skin. The tears are noticeable on his face, even though he's smiling, and it spills over onto his black undershirt.

SO... REGARDING WILLIAM. As you might notice, I tend to see him with pale skin, and in truth, the cast tends to call him "white."

I'm not gonna explain his long-term character creation lore here for a while, BUT REGARDLESS OF THAT, people can think of him as mixed Southeast Asian [a few generations back] or not (whatever works).

I left it ambiguous (actually it's not even talked about in book 1 because I revised his intro scene), and I'll very likely leave it ambiguous.

I might write up a short story that goes into Will's family line (basically his great-grandma was friends with Antonio Chandrani-Rivera's great-grandpa but neither might know about this)... IF Will is directly related to her.
