Rajab looks back at someone with a serious gaze, silver eyes, dark brown skin and silver hair with a flowery white print shirt. The seas behind him look mystical and swirling. Antonio with his typical darker blue hair [within the comic] like waves looks brash with a sharp grin, with glowing red eyes and blood splashed on his skin. Fernando, who is identical to him except with [anime] dark violet hair with a flying braid, looks back at what looks like Antonio very seriously with his golden eye glowing and a small frown, wearing a red shirt and with his waves whirling behind him.

Red for the heart, gold for what you know, silver for what you reach for, and many more…

Long after Earthians traveled across the galaxy, by that era near-100,000 years in the future, humans began to be born with Spectral Eyes.

Including those two. That famous pair. Ranvir and Armando, who had once had crimson red eyes.

A while ago, now... But not too long ago. I mean, you’re their son, right?

SPECTRAL EYES (also known as "Gods' Eyes"; the two are most utilized depending on the person):

Supernatural glowing eyes that are unalike to typical human eye colors of brown, gray, green and blue. While the normal-eyed also utilize magic, they are unable to "comprehend" to the same supernatural, psychic level. First revealed through the light novel excerpts.

RED: The empath—they comprehend love and hatred as easy as breathing. Those whose hearts connect to any one person (not only fellow red-eyed) can potentially maintain a telepathic connection. The Red once ruled; they are now forced into the lowest caste. Up until recently, they were highly mistreated. They were and—when the opportunity arises for those who fixate on "curses" in particular—are still are condemned as the sort of people who would bring trouble to the whole of Imion.

Associated characters: Antonio Chandrani-Rivera, Mario and Maria Herrera, Alia Akinyemi and Khaleel Atif-Akinyemi, Armando and Antonio Herrera-Rivera, Ranvir and Rajani Chandrani, Alejandro Altaha

SILVER: Seering; psychic power that sees into the future. Due to how potential works, a Silver's seering can wind up either very inaccurate or too accurate. In most places in the world, they are firmly the highest Golden clans' Second.

Associated characters: Rajab Chandrani-Rivera

GOLD: Ability to gauge the past up to a surprising magical extent (though only if ghosts and living people allow it). As Imionians want to avoid the ultra-ancient Earthians' mistakes, the Gold currently rule. According to their own say, at least.

Associated characters: Fernando Chandrani-Rivera

VIRIDIAN: Their eye color is more "spring green," though they are called "Viridian people"; they comprehend "nature" (the world) and its omens, particularly that which will wind up good or bad for themselves. It is neither as personal as the Red or as particular as the Silver. In fact, it is more "defining."

Associated characters: Leo Abara

VIOLET: They are the people who avoid trouble that will affect themselves to a supernatural level. Often pressured to join organizations that prioritize fighting, in popular imagination, they die too easily. If they don't, unfortunately, due to fighting being associated with Violets, they find trouble more frequently than many.

There is a particular region where they are implicitly treated as "the most superior."

Associated characters: William Evans

AQUA: Those who comprehend death. They are unfortunately associated with infamous cult activity. Since the Aqua often do not want to move on, due to this, they can be worse than Hamlet's father.

Associated characters: Tomás Estrada

The Normal-eyed: Human evolution did not leave behind those without the Spectral Eyes. The normal-eyed are best known for having a clearer mind due to having no additonal psychic ability. Despite this, even Spectral are capable of scientific feats. (This is something one might find in a Gold's propaganda poster.)

There is a faction of Gold-eyed who believe the normal-eyed are not worthy of societal gain. While they are largely silenced, the concept of "Gods' Eyes" remains.

Associated characters: Keya Chandrani, Posh Hat

The Dual-eyed: Individuals who have supernatural heterochromia of two different eye colors which they have to learn how to utilize concurrently. It's not necessarily ultra rare, though it is rarer than being a Spectral with homogeneous eye colors. Due to how terribly Dual-eyed were treated for many thousands of years, despite their improving life situations, they are still a guarded people and very often hide one or both their eyes. (However, hiding at least one eye is a boast as well.)

Associated characters: Layla Chandrani

BLUE HORIZON WORLD AND UNIVERSE LOCALES:

  • The Boundless: An eerie otherworld; the name "the Boundless" describes it to a T. It is a place the ultra-ancient Earthians who could barely get off of the Earth could not quite comprehend. A place with no bounds, and very strange locales and infrastructure. It is as if it is constructed out of people's dreams. First properly discussed in Blue Horizon: Bright Days, Sad Days comic 3.

  • Planet Imion: A planet that has been closed off from the rest of the galaxy. A cataclysmic incident forced this, and they are closed-off even from their sister planets. Its people are determined to reconnect with the rest of the galaxy. However...much of the rest of the galaxy has been attempting to reconnect with Imion and its sisters and failing. There may be something troublesome regarding the Boundless. (Many have guesses.) First properly discussed in "The Protector's memory of them under the sunlight" light novel excerpt.

  • Citaatlco: Fantasy counterpart Mexico. The home of Armando Rivera, Mario and Maria Herrera, Alejandro Caldera-Altaha, and others in the cast. Very close to the Lotus Isles, it is one of many ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ Isles, including the likes of Mai (fantasy Philippines), Konohana (fantasy Japan) and Seora (fantasy Korea). (Essentially fantasy counterpart Latin America is mixed up with parts of Asia.) First properly discussed in "The Protector's memory of them under the sunlight" light novel excerpt.

  • The Lotus Isles: Fantasy counterpart South Asia. An array of isles people think are shaped alike to a Lotus. The Chandrani family have long settled in ▒▒▒▒▒. They are by the infamous Jowar Peaks of Jowar City, a city known for its cheery and easygoing people as well as a deep Shrouding of ghosts. (Author's note: Despite the isle not being named yet--it will be in comic 4--since I've noticed it's a pretty generic name in fiction at this point, decided to just bring it up, LOL.)

  • The Shrouded Seas: The Shrouded Seas is where the Lotus and ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ Isles are located. The people of these isles have long figured out how to thrive despite the trouble that often appears when the fog rolls in. First properly discussed in Blue Horizon: Bright Days, Sad Days comic 3.

Blue Horizon glossary of terminologies introduced thus-far:

    [The tradition of Imionian names.]

Did you know? A very long time ago, ultra-ancient humans had names like Antonio and Raj. As their descendants we bear those countless of those names now too. I wonder if we've changed at all?

One type of Psyche. An immense fog containing three Spectral-looking eyes, gold, silver and fuschia akin to the triplets are eerie with a dizzying spiral in each eye, staring down at someone with running cartoonish fanged teeth and a bloodied eerie semi-realistic jaw starting to separate from the fog.
  • The Psyche: So-called "monstrous" forms that are within the Boundless--the trouble is when they begin to leave it. The humans of Blue Horizon's verse are especially wary when they reach the outer edges, right before entering their true reality. These beings can become incredibly large, but often start off small, and can have smaller contingencies that harm people as badly as the large ones. It seems as though they are often created from ghosts' or living people's fears. It can be difficult to assess their wants and desires, but some do not believe the Psyche are all trouble and believe that they are a natural part of being alive and dead. First properly discussed in Blue Horizon: Bright Days, Sad Days comic 3.

  • Antonio Chandrani has hair like blue waves falling around him, has brown skin, wears a dark blue diver-like suit and has a rising aquamarine sea behind him. He's shown moving the waves around him. It's implied he's floating with mist and there's foam near his legs.
  • Alchemy: Often interchanged with the term "magic," alchemy is a form of science Blue Horizon's futuristic society understands very well--"alchemy" involves their ability to interact with nature especially. While ultra-ancient humans would call the humans of Blue Horizon's verse and those of the planet Tono and Layla's people dwell in "superheroes," they personally think of themselves as "alchemists" and even "mages" due to how their magic interacts with nature.

  • Rajab looks back at someone with a serious gaze, silver eyes, dark brown skin and silver hair with a flowery white print shirt.
  • Spectral Eyes: This will be gone into in Blue Horizon: Bright Days, Sad Days' comic 4 soon, but thus far, as noted above, Blue Horizon protagonists often gain a supernatural power by way of Spectral Eyes. It is something they cannot control, and unfortunately there are caste-like issues enforced within their society via these eyes. Antonio Chandrani-Rivera has red eyes, involving the magic of empaths, while his identical twin Fernando has golden eyes, involving the magic to see into the past. Antonio is of the "lowest 'caste'" in recent times, while Fernando is of the "highest."
