Starting off with a comic that was inspired by a Twitter post back in October 2024...!

20 or 21-year-old chibi antonio in his messy study drawing alejandro surrounded by flowers for some reason next to a familiar figure (himself). raj is looking on.

antonio with a rougish fall of hair looks like he hasn't slept, eyes gaunt. he has his face in one hand. the pen is rolling away from the drawing. raj looks upset and contemplative behind him, with a dot dot dot in his speech bubble.

Next comic is one I'm creating to relax and kind of give flavor to my Bsky boosts of Blue Horizon's "The Protector and the Annihilation"'s Kickstarter pre-launch...! Created on 04/21/2025. (Deciding to be obnoxious about that here since I really want Blue Horizon to keep trucking easily.)


ALEJANDRO ALTAHA HATES SOUL BONDS 1. a mysterious narrator says, 'the truth is, everyone knows that idiot, antonio chandrani-rivera... i mean, hes a romantic, isnt he?' (antonio with rougish hair falling around him is smiling with a mischevious expression toward someone while wearing a sherwani-styled attire.) narrator continues, but everyone knows that boy he's SO close to, alejandro caldera-altaha, our so-called ANGELIC savior... alejandro caldera-altaha, he despises SOUL BONDS. the shadow figure is alejandro, who has long falling hair and wears a tunic with some sort of angel-wing or devil-wing upon lines-styled shirt collar design with feathers on each side. (or some sort of leaf pattern.) surrounding him is a panel that's shaped a bit like an angel design. the bgs are pink and a darker pink for the angelic panel. antonio has brown melanin and splashes of pink color on his clothes.

ALEJANDRO ALTAHA HATES SOUL BONDS. 2. a narrator who is eyeing them irritably says: 'humans can't forcibly pull anyone into soul bonds. as cocky as he is, antonio chandrani-rivera isn't the type to try. they're close, in reality. quite close. a number can tell. everyone else... well, aren't they close friends? rather close. alejandro... well, he's not one of the ones who can have children with hiselemental outer core, same with his ocean birdie. it ain't about children. he experiences romance. he got mad at me for assuming that just because he didn'thave a thing for my hot ass,it meant he wasn't interestedin relationships in general. i've learned it's true. he goes cherry red around a certain boy!' the narrator is eyeing them with a frown. he wears a leather-style jacket with fluff on the shoulders. two girls, konna and maria, are by him. konna looks butch and maria has long black hair. alejandro is blushing heavily with a surprised smile as antonio seems to sweet-talk him, or something similar. alejandro has a shy stance and antonio is leaning in with his arms held loosely behind his back, with a foot popping up. alejandro has long dark hair while antonio has falling rougish hair that is implied blue but, due to the purple and pink color tones of the comic, is more periwinkle purple. in the next panel featuring them, alejandro seems very focused on antonio's words, a little caught up. the text has separations of ribbons and a water dragon-looking swish line. behind all of them seem to be stairs leading up somewhere.

ALEJANDRO ALTAHA HATES SOUL BONDS. 3. showcases two golden wombs within an implied outer core. one houses two identical twins. one houses a fraternal twin. there's sparkles surrounding them. zamir tries narrating: our society has troubles. large amounts. too many... i can't fucking stan— dev interrupts: zamir. stop cursing around children! zamir says: —right. i know you twinnie babies are aware. your cousins have two fathers. the daddies' sexes are 'male'—their genders, i'm unsure. as babies, your triplet cousins themselves were born in the scarier dad's 'golden wombs!' dev commentates: he's scary? the next panel has yunuen cassander, who has light bronze skin, falling messy straight black hair and messy bangs. he wears a black blindfold and is smiling. his golden and silver eyes (dual) glow through the blindfold. he wears a black cloak colored violet and wears dark clothing underneath. there's a halo-like outer core arround him, with shining rainbow-colored light. zamir tries: golden wombs manifest after two mages of any sex or gender fall in love—this MUST occur—and then have se— dev interrupts again: —zamir. i fucking swear. zamir goes: seriously, dev? it's sex ed! that's all! dev makes an unhappy brows upset furrowed frowny face in text form. zamir sighs: ugh. so, after ROMANCE, a stork TOTALLY throws the babies into the mage's elemental outer core. dev gives extra info by the aqua-blue implication of wind: a wind mage's outer loci, or outer core, it's incredibly esoteric. it manifests like a halo... zamir gives info by yunuen. with an arrow pointing at a glowing pink, doubled heart, he says: the inner core is well-known. the soul, the heart as a metaphor. pointing at a golden womb with the implication of a baby in it, he says: the outer core... it CAN house a baby. that ditzy doc you brats know, yunuen cassander, they say he had his eldest son with his outer core! am i even allowed to tell you?

ALEJANDRO ALTAHA HATES SOUL BONDS. 4. Dev takes over narration: these babes born in the elemental outer core, whether in the golden womb or for at least two and a half years after birth, they're sustained by a substance called 'ichor'! the gold isn't noticeable on them after being born at all. that's why some babies you've seen drink milk, and some babies don't—parents can still give them formula and baby food, though! Zamir interrupts: dev, why are you taking over my story? this wasn't the point. Dev says: i can tell what your point is. you're the one who took over when i tried to explain THE MARK, and people's RITES. Zamir says: listen. your uncles—no matter what— ARMANDO RIVERA AND RANVIR CHANDRANI, regardless of their own families' tendencies to try to fight them to the death over it, they are men of POWER. in this bullshit world, what alejandro caldera-altaha wants is... (/End narration.) Antonio Chandrani-Rivera's fathers, Ranvir and Armando are in the upper panel--they're holding their babies, Raj, Antonio and Fernando respectively. Raj is in Ranvir's arm, who is smiling softly down at him. Armando is holding Antonio and Fernando while glancing at Ranvir with the smallest blush and smile. The babies are excitable, with Raj cheery and smiling, Antonio curious and reading one of Dev's text panels, and Fernando smiling brightly. Raj wears a soft whitish-pink sweater, Antonio wears a pink sweater, and Fernando wears a light yellow sweater. They're all brown, but Raj is darker. Ranvir wears a soft mauve sweater while Armando is sleeveless. Ranvir has darker brown skin like Raj. Armando has a lighter brown sepia skintone. Since Armando and Ranvir are 40's here, they both have dark hair and dark beards. They're all on the pink picnic blanket. BG is a cute kitty pattern in pink. Alejandro is below to the right in a panel shaped like an angel with wings. Alejandro's looking to the left with a breezy smile. He has his usual long falling dark hair (violet here) and light bronze skin.

alejandro altaha hates soul bonds. 5. zamir proclaims: our VERITABLE alejandro altaha wants a POWER far greater than your uncles', ranvir chandrani and armando rivera's... he wants POWER greater than men who give their souls up to each other. whose lives can shatter so easily. alejandro wants POWER to shatter your chandrani family line further. ALEJANDRO ALTAHA WANTS TO TAKE YOUR LOVED COUSIN, ANTONIO CHANDRANI-RIVERA, DOWN— the two twin children he's been conversing with scream: BZZZZT!! WRONG. [twin 2:] YEAH!!! HE LOVES HIM, STUPID HEAD. image description is: both alejandro and antonio are floating solemnly in a pool of water reflecting stars upon violet waters with their eyes closed. they're floating by on opposing, parallel sides. alejandro has long dark violet hair floating about, light bronze skin, and wears a pink tunic with an aqua shirt color lining that has yellow suns on it. antonio has light violet-toned hair that stands for blue hair like waves, has darker brown skin and is wearing a wetsuit.

alejandro altaha hates soul bonds. 6. punk-style anime boy zamir on the top-left has a small grin, with falling, wavy hair and pink eyes standing for red. he wears a fluff-sleeved faux leather jacket. he starts speaking as two twin children scream. the children are nirab chandrani on the left and terazi chandrani on the right. one has wavy fall of hair and the other has long falling hair. all characters hair are meant to be silver, but are just the pink color of the panel. pink roses separate zamir from the children as panel barriers. as zamir says, 'the weakness of a soul bond is something ale--' the children scream, 'YOU CAN'T TURN US AGAINST ALOO.' (note: aloo means potato in bangla.) and zamir says, 'it's ale.' the children say 'YEAH, WE LOVE HIM!!! ALI.' zamir says 'it's alejandro.' the children say 'TONOS GONNA START A REVOLUTION SO HE CAN KISS ALLO, DUMMY!!!' then 'YEAH, DUMMY!!!' (note: allo means light in bangla.) and then zamir says 'he can kiss him without that.') the tags 'zamir zaman' is atop of him while 'nirab (left) and terazi (right) chandrani' and the note 'trans boy twins' is above the children.

Nirab yells, 'You're way too suss!' Terazi agrees, 'Yeah, how come you're so suss?' Nirab goes, 'Do ya want us to tell Aloo that YOU think Aloo is homophobie against OUR CUZ TONO?' Terazi insists, 'OR TELL TONO THAT YOU THINK THAT ALLO IS AGAINST HIM?' Zamir is shocked, noticing Antonio and going 'I...' as Antonio and Alejandro fashionably pass by and Antonio winks at him. Nirab screams, 'YOU'RE DUMB!!!' and Terazi screams, 'Super stupid-head!!!'

Nirab and Terazi pull at their eyelids and go 'BLEEEEEEH!' with their tongues sticking out while exciting flashing background occurs, still pink. Nirab has wavy pale hair, while Terazi has long falling pale hair. Nirab wears a pink sleeveless shirt and Terazi wears a lavender-pink long-sleeved shirt. They both have darker brown skintone than Dev. Dev and Zamir are staring at them while very chibi. Dev looks chill and bemused with his short fall of bangs and hair. He has gold eyes. Zamir is sweating while smiling in a possibly annoyed way, with his usual wavy hair around him. Dev notably has golden eyes while the rest keep their red eyes represented by pink irises. It says Alejandro Altaha Hates Soul Bonds 8 in Dev and Zamir's section.

Dev is glancing at Zamir with a blush. He has golden eyes, a short fall of bangs and hair, wears a messy shirt, and seems to be by the children, who are implied to be still chattering without words expressed. Zamir is peering at Antonio and Alejandro at some distance away. Zamir looks bemused with pink irises implying red, wavy hair and his biker jacket with fluff on it on him. He thinks, 'i wonder what to do about them...? even if the situation evolves beyond our hopes, dev and i are strong as a pair. it's better not to worry. antonio is strong, too, despite his fathers' fears.' Alejandro and Antonio are surrounded by soft lavender sparkles, looking at each other softly. Antonio is too close to Alejandro, with his arm implied to by Alejandro's own. Antonio looks excited and boyish at first, then is leaning in with a sweet expression as Alejandro laughs, seeming very gentle and warm and blushing. Antonio has blue hair like waves implied via violet, pink irises implying red, and wears a soft lavender panjabi. Alejandro wears a pink tunic with eyes along the shirt collar and has long falling violet hair. Roses separate the two pairs. It says 'alejandro altaha hates soul bonds. 9' except it is crossed out, and instead says 'alejandro altaha fears something.' on the top right. on the bottom left it says, 'what does it mean to shatter your soul?'

The next panel has Dev glancing at Zamir with an apparent quieter blush. Dev is bemused as usual. Zamir is fed-up as the youngest Chandrani twins holler, 'Bye, stupid...!' while running away...! We can only see Terazi with his silver hair flying back and wearing his pink tunic. Zamir complains, 'i didn't think even these chandrani kids would be out here chomping brains just to find out the truth.' Dev compliments, 'graphic.' He looks a bit spacey. Zamir doesn't seem to notice how Dev looks at him. Dev wears a shirt with a totally messed up shirt collar, properly button-downed. Zamir wears a biker jacket with fluff on it and dark pants, and is posed dramatically with one hand on his hip. Once again it says 'alejandro altaha hates soul bonds. 10' except it is crossed out, and instead says 'alejandro altaha fears something.' on the top right.

It is the finale of 'Alejandro Altaha Hates Soul Bonds.' (AKA 'Alejandro Altaha Fears Something.) It's the 11th panel. Dev is patting Zamir on the head, pose pretty relaxed. Zamir looks strangely less cool and more young. Zamir goes, 'Dev, you don't think I'm stupid, do you--' and Dev says, 'Zamir, what do you want for lunch? More potato-with-tomato salad again?' Zamir asks, 'The one you made last week? That tasted good.' Dev says, 'Help me out by grabbing the tomato from the garden!' Zamir stammers, 'I can help with the salad!' Dev says, 'Okay.' Dev thinks, 'I was created for it, fighting...but my childhood friend, zamir... he always tries to figure out how to keep me from harm, out of everyone. I hope we can relax more, soon.' Zamir has wavy hair, pink irises that represent red, and light bronze skin. He wears a biker jacket with fluff on it and dark pants. Dev has brown skin and golden eyes, with a short fall of bangs and hair that's technically a bit proper, but cut oddly. He wears a shirt with a badly-done shirt collar and slacks. It says fin. AKA finale on the bottom left.
