blue horizon main 6 fantasy counterpart cultural backgrounds

now that i plan to drop blue horizon comics on occasion, i'll clarify…

🌹 antonio is mixed fantasy counterpart south asian and latine!

🌹 layla is fantasy counterpart south asian.

🌹 alia and khaleel are fantasy counterpart african and south asian second gen. leo is similar (but possibly first gen).

🌹 alejandro is mixed fantasy counterpart latine and apache.

i don't want to go into specific fantasy counterpart/fantasy cultural background for the main 6 aside from alejandro because i think the worldbuild of the novels (+ comics) will establish it better than me just talking about it rn.

i say "fantasy" alongside "fantasy counterpart" because of certain worldbuild details--it's a space fantasy, but if it were set on earth, it'd be like an alternate history situation. but it's not set on earth, it's set on a faraway planet, lol.

in any case, blue horizon couldn't really work as an alternate history earth because of how the continents work on their planet...! will be obvious one day, especially if i finally draw the fantasy map i've been planning to for like 2 years.
