First completed Nasir artwork. He's a vital part of Blue Horizon and Antonio Chandrani-Rivera's past self. This suit is his main outfit alongside the schenti (as can be seen here in the WIP of him and the Main 4 of 10,000 years past).

First time I'm able to draw without thinking about finishing the Kickstarter, though I'm still easily stressed. Fitting I drew Nasir after that, finally.

Armando and Ranvir sit together upon teal blue steps while appearing anxious, with Ranvir laying his head against Armando's shoulder and upon his hair. Armando's identical twin brother Antonio Herrera-Rivera has his legs submerged within aquamarine ocean with nighttime stars reflecting upon it and all of it dancing. Alejandro has fuchsia eyes, long, falling dark hair that's implied as red-violet due to being colored by his magical flames, and light bronze skin that's lit up by his magical flames, too. He appears uneasy and incredibly unhappy, posture swaying, expression bearing gaunt eyes and a crooked smile. He is surrounded by fire forms that appear like an extremely basic idea of humanoid, such as in cave paintings, except as fire. They surround him. He wears a pink tunic with orange diamonds implying starlight along the shirt collar. The BG is an inky dark blue. The card says 'I' above with roses designs leading to it from the edges of the top half, and it says 'the magician' on the bottom half with water droplet designs and shells leading to said word. Antonio Chandrani-Rivera is hanging upside down as The Hanged Man, with a rope of dark blue entrails from an Eye Psyche capturing him. His little baby the aquamarine Sally the salamander heart demon is trying to burn it off him and seems soon-to-be-successful. The pink eye with spring green rounding its outer edge and spring green pupil is noticing Sally. Behind him is a lot of blue-toned entrails and blue-toned sands falling. Antonio has red brown skin, red eyes peering sweetly at the person before him, and has his arms crossed, seeming rather confident. He wears a dark blue wetsuit and has one leg hanging and another simply crossed against his knee, showing a lot of thigh. His dark blue hair like waves fall down. leo is standing upon a golden ancient egyptian chariot in front of an immense dark violet panther being and a fox being with many tails. they are implied to be kestral clan beings. there's a great spotted cuckoo bird upon the panther that is mostly dark brown with a beige tuft. upon the chariot's axle rod legs there are two fantasy silvery sphinx with dark gray eyes, gray hoods, and overall sphinx shape with paws. leo has curly silver locks tied back, spring green eyes, dark brown skin, and wears a rose red shirt with loose light aqua pants. he is relaxed upon the chariot and the chariot is upon a field of flowers, with a bright blue day behind them all. the card reads xii (7) above and 'the chariot' at the bottom with shell and teardrop designs surrounding it. The outer card is a rose pink. khaleel has a strange leaf-strewn branch he is implied to be magically pulling toward him with an odd greenery of a plant shaped like an angelic-looking figure with dotted light blue flowers upon its wings and an array of colorful flowers for its hair, mainly violet and fuchsia and orange. he has falling silver braids around him, dark brown skin, red eyes, and a cold stare downward. he holds silver steel-like ancient egyptian-style scales on the right. he wears a dark blue sleeveless shirt and a green lungi that's soaked by the aquamarine waves all around him, spilling down the steps he is sitting upon. the dreamy aqua-cerulean-black waves are starry, and the dark night sky behind him is starry too. the card reads xi (6) above and 'justice' at the bottom with shell and teardrop designs surrounding it. Have decided to drop a sketch into the main gallery again due to liking the action energy of it. This isn't colored to the point that I can manage, but I'll drop any sketches I particularly like in the main gallery at points. Drawn and dropped on 06/13/2025.

antonio chandrani-rivera is standing around, implied flippant as alejandro's alleged 'fire turkey' (a sort of gold-orange-reddish phoenix-like creature) is by his face, which he is reducing to its original for implied solid form with his oceanic waters. antonio is easygoing as he asks 'a warm bath...?' alejandro's fire chicken which is a phoenix with a number of eyes outlined in blue is coming from his implied sunlight core (or by his heart if not exactly from it). alejandro is sitting around in the air, implied to be floating, gauging the world with irritation as he stares with some sort of threatening look at the viewer (or possibly someone, or is spacing out, wanting to kick ass). alejandro says, 'my heart isn't lost.' a hazy earthquaking thought that's implied to come from antonio or one of his past lives says 'your stupid turkey is.' there's oceanic aquamarine pull of waters in a planetary ring around antonio and alejandro that antonio has done for them. the both of them are highly wet if not totally soaked. the phoenix has also created a sort of light halo or ring around them. antonio vaguely keeps them together by them without necessarily trapping alejandro. their wet hairs are mixing together. antonio has blue hair like waves, brown skin, and red eyes. alejandro has red eyes, long violet hair implied dark and wears a simple pink-red tunic. the text by alejandro says 'alejandro caldera is noticeably taken by antonio chandrani-rivera. this is a problem. this boy did not go where everyone expected and is now his number one. the problem is twofold. according to raj rivera, antonio chandrani-rivera is not working with chandrani interests, let alone herrera. his allegiance is likely with [BLACKED OUT TEXT] and as such, alejandro caldera is highly susceptible to betrayal alongside many allies such as the [BLACKED OUT FACTION]. farrah chandrani has been our in regarding the situation, but the girl herself has a worse demon on her than [BLACKED OUT NAME] and the rest of THEM.' The BG is pink.

ABOVE IS THE SEXIER VERSION A for the prompt I made up on my own, '"shonen anime husbands" Aletono.' Below will be a total flip.

SO... soon after I created the cute game-style Aletono donut date art that can be found in the sketch gallery here, I decided I wanted to try creating a total opposite energy with the theme of "shonen anime husbands" Aletono. Thus, these sketches were born--while I haven't gone all-out the way I could coloring them, I decided I like them enough and that they're pretty swanky enough to drop in the main art gallery instead of just the new sketch gallery.

Despite basing it on the concept of "shonen anime husbands," these artworks depict Antonio Chandrani-Rivera and Alejandro [Caldera-]Altaha's canon environment. Antonio Chandrani-Rivera is on the left and Alejandro Altaha is on the right.

OKAY.

So I decided to separate the two artwork with the text explaning them. Since the other artwork has blood and gore and a totally different energy, here it is below after some chatter so it's not that jarring:

It's been a while. I don't understand. I was always planning to die and now we're supposed to have hope because obviously you'll change from this farce. You are a gorgeous demi-god of SELF-SACRIFICE.' Die is crossed out and 'demi-god' from 'You are a gorgeous demi-god of SELF-SACRIFICE.' is crossed out with a misty 'man' written atop of it. The BG is pink.


As noted above, it's an alteration of the same base art with a different feel attached to it. This was my original vision, but since I like the romantasy side of Blue Horizon a lot, I prefer the first artwork IN A WAY. I do like the themes Blue Horizon explores.

Here's the incomplete animatic trailer for The Protector and the Annihilation...! Don't plan to add too much more since this was my first attempt animating on Clip Studio Paint. Will still take my time finishing it unless it suddenly grabs all my brainworms in the next days.

The above is an alteration of game art for the sake of a side game on this site and several others. This art panel doesn't exist within the Blue Horizon: Hibiscus game, and is instead an alteration...! The characters featured are the identical twins Fernando Chandrani-Rivera and Antonio Chandrani-Rivera. Antonio is looking at Raj off-panel. (🌘🌑🌒 )

I keep making cover art! This is for the upcoming 18k interactive fiction/text-based family + LGBTQ/gay/boys' love game featuring Raj Rivera...! It should drop within a few days' time (it's currently 02/21/25).

I created the cover art for the side story novella/light novel and dropped it after the new year, around January 23rd...! It came to me as a vision. (I'll put up a version of the artwork without any text in the way eventually; am just being lazy RN.)

Beyond that, there's two new regular artwork upcoming...! Until then, here's a sketch of the Main 4's Ancient selves via blog. It's of Nasir Hadid-Salah (Antonio Chandrani-Rivera) and Leila Hadid-Salah (Layla Chandrani) and their besties. Will be finishing it up soon.

As noted on the main page, Alejandro's frock-like attire is based on historic photos of Apache men's outfits. Antonio's is just his Chandrani family's fantasy uniform. As noted in the 11/23/24 blog post, Alejandro [Caldera-]Altaha is mixed Apache and Mexican.

I didn't think about how 2025 would begin with the chibification of Blue Horizon characters. Fun way to begin it, art-wise...! Relaxing. I've been used to drawing chibis for a long time, despite otherwise doing an extremely extensive art break for about ten years.
