The goal of this part of the gallery is 200 "pages" of catboy ! Antonio Chandrani-Rivera artworks done over the course of possible years. Then it will one day be compilied into an official catboy Tono zine. At one point I'll throw most of them onto Patreon instead, but for now the first dozens will have their own dedicated gallery.
The background for this project: Itch delisted me during the height of their pr9n bans so I started a catboy ! Tono zine where other characters, particularly Alejandro, will occasionally feature, but everyone will be at least five feet apart. Tono will be a catboy!!! Alejo will be a wolfy!!! That's about it.
party like it's '99? or was it '89?
(v quick catboy ! antonio chandrani-rivera doodle just to bring back my og "fast" spectral eyes, which will now occasionally be utilized for low-lit spectral eyes.)
just wanted to grayscale the boy.
catboy ! antonio chandrani-rivera holding sunflowers or black-eyed susan flowers or something.

Retro Fernando Chandrani-Rivera and Diego Garza on a desktop wallpaper; just had a vision for it. Of course it wound up an "eye catch image" for the upcoming visual novel, as can be seen here.
The main focus initially was chibi kitty Antonio; I realized late that I based the chibi style on 2000's shimeji art styles! Due to realizing my subconscious inspo, I looked up shimeji and again and discovered they recently came back into vogue!!! Party like it's 2008!!! B)
Saw it via its active Reddit @ shimeji BTW and an active Bluesky tag. Very happy to learn it, though I highly recommend avoiding getting any 2000's era shimeji, since they're ancient and probably mess up modern computers.

Kitty. These two are already in the short story section (Here at "Blue Horizon: what he sees at your side.") and while I orignally drew them for fun, somehow they became part of a prelude short story to the upcoming visual novel! Essentially I stared at chibi nekomimi ! Antonio and had an Experience of writing caliber.

So I learned my sis got Paint Tool Sai 1 some time ago on this tablet I'm currently utilizing for sketching until I can get back to my spooky Blue Rize game.
I stopped practicing art for a long time and only ever utilized Photoshop. Despite that I long admired and romanticized the OG Paint Tool Sai AND....
After finally using it, I have to say I favor Clip Studio letting you select multiple layers to adjust an eye, etc. There's also certain functions made intuitive in ancient versions of Photoshop and many current art programs that I realized I would have to search up for the OG SAI. I do like its main brushes and adjustability.
Going back to Clip Studio Paint. Despite this I'll always admire the vibrancy of 2000's Sai artwork on Deviantart. I haven't tried Sai 2 but am curious about it. (˵ •̀ ᴗ •́ ˵ ) ✧
Too lazy to fix Wacom on my tablet era. The tablet itself has no pen because it was lost like 5 years ago.
Despite the awkwardness, this one involves themes in the upcoming game and series as a whole! I learned oekaki boards have become uncommon, so I'm glad cinni's one (part of Neocities) sparked interest back up! Here's a thread of others I've read are active in 2025.
These were drawn in the days prior to 10/23/2025.
