Repeat of description of Antonio's selfie: It's my selfie! I look cool AF and tried smiling. I have dark falling hair and dark tone to my skin; there's aquamarine lighting from our atmosphere in the lower horizon, but there's countless stars in the dark skies behind me.

My Red eyes are glowing more than usual, hmm. The pupils look odder than usual. Usually there isn't any gold to the glowing fuchsia of my pupils. How odd.

I tried taking a selfie with this 'cell-phone' camera. This Antonio K▦▦▦-G▦▦▦ lives in the 2000's, so the quality ain't great.

It's a little odd, isn't it?

His 2020's smart-ass camera has way better quality, so I stole it for a minute when the (literal) tiger ran him over (literal tiger) and sneaked a picture of the cute 'instant camera selfie,' deleted it, and then cleaned it up later...! >:D

The year 2005 is a faraway fairy-tale to me. I think there's some part of me that understands exactly what year this is, but what does it matter? He'll never fully get it, either. How I'm glad we lived – Nasir and I.

Sketch dump between December 11 to December 22 below. Became increasingly thematic (kitty).

This version has chibi Antonio Chandrani-Rivera's cat ears in the ERROR message. A pixelated retro-looking desktop where fernando chandrani-rivera is looking very gently at a cheery diego garza. fernando has flowing hair that seems to pull down into a braid with a pink ribbon, while diego has a dark pomade and niko-niko generally closed cheery eyes going on out of happiness. the desktop background is a rose pink and a few icons populate it--a world-like icon, a 'notepack' icon, an anime eye with a fuchsia spectral pupil, a simple chibi bunny icon nearer to fernando, and an odd paw-like icon by an error screen. by fernando's chest there's an odd diamond icon with a heart. all these icons have a fantasy language under them. the error message displays a chibi twin antonio chandrani-rivera with squiggly soft red chibi eyes and he has his usual blue hair like waves and wears a chibi blue shirt with soft falling blue sleeves like waves. there's aquamarine waves behind him on the error message. the error message says 'A devil-may-care ERROR OCCURRED.' beside the text there's a pink pixelated broken heart icon. the error message's upper section is a wave-like aquamarine stripe. there's two other error message--one looks normal like the main one above and another has a strange gold tone with a rainbowing array to it.

This version's only alteration is chibi Antonio without cat ears.

This one has something new--a gold-and-pink staticking screen pulled away from the other two that seems to show only 'care red' or 'are red' from 'devil-may-care' and 'error occurred.'

The main focus initially was chibi kitty Antonio; I realized late that I based the chibi style on 2000's shimeji art styles! Due to realizing my subconscious inspo, I looked up shimeji and again and discovered they recently came back into vogue!!! Party like it's 2008!!! B)

Saw it via its active Reddit @ shimeji BTW and an active Bluesky tag. Very happy to learn it, though I highly recommend avoiding getting any 2000's era shimeji, since they're ancient and probably mess up modern computers.

Kitty. These two are already in the short story section (Here at "Blue Horizon: what he sees at your side.") and while I orignally drew them for fun, somehow they became part of a prelude short story to the upcoming visual novel! Essentially I stared at chibi nekomimi ! Antonio and had an Experience of writing caliber.

antonio is in deep thought. he seems sad. he thinks, 'i wonder why kiran and rayan mainly hang out with each other instead of staying my besties as part of my bestie trio anymore...?' a telepathic connection between him and fernando goes 'bzzzt!' in red and gold. he and fernando are identical twins, but antonio has shorter falling hair around his shoulder and fernando has a braid. they are both brown. antonio and his trio of friends in front of fernando on the couch have red eyes. fernando is sweating with his gold eyes closed behind the couch and it says 'fernando chandrani-rivera' next to him and 'aka the twin brother who occasionally gets a telepathic connection with an idiot and can tell he's thinking stupid shit.' beside antonio is his best friend alejandro who is sleeping going -v- and 'snorkmimimimimi.' he is sleeping with anime eyes closed and very happy. he's sorta chibi. he has long dark hair and light bronze skin. by him it says 'alejandro caldera-altaha' with 'caldera' crossed out. by them diego is third-wheeling like usual playing video games with an archiac controller they prob don't actually use anymore in their 100k years in the future era. diego has light bronze skin and red eyes and looks enthused about his game in a sketchy chibi-esque way with his brows drawn excitedly but he looks also dorky as hell and like an idiot. he is gaming with a teal controller with pink hearts and a controller thingy on it. it says 'diego garza by him.' they're all on a couch. except fernando who's standing behind the couch sweating. it says 'blue horizon: the idiot brother and his crew' below. the canvas is mostly pink with some aquas, brighter pinks and light greens.

I dropped these comics here because I feel like the 2025 sketch gallery has way more context you can gain about Antonio and possibly Fernando. Will drop with an actual side comic batch in the side comics section later.

First time I drew on an Android tablet and on Ibis Paint! Happened December 11. I used to be stressed about sharing my art process since it starts off very rough, but wound up liking the art process vid enough to show it off here and elsewhere. Really enjoy Ibis Paint and am excited to have a particularly portable thing to draw on, especially by spring and summer. :D

HOWEVER despite this he's both a trans ally and listens to women. (And despite that he will be v messy. Cannot explain everything that happens in the books without over-spoiling.)

I worked on a few sketches for the upcoming official catboy!Antonio zine + comic during the foray of bricking my ancient refurbished computer while attempting to put Win11 on it (they said not to but I saw a workaround. Don't do that to your ancient refurbished computers):

Older Antonio smiling gently at an Alejandro who is faced away but experiencing genuine mirth. Antonio has rougish falling shoulder-length hair, red eyes and cat ears. Alejandro has closed eyes and long flowing hair wears a tunic. Antonio has strapping arms but no bob window due to conveniently placed undershirt.

Catboy Antonio shenanigans continue with his rougeish fall of hair, catboy dark cat ears, red eyes and bemused expression. He has muscled arms. Light aqua BG. It shows Paint Tool Sai 1's layout.

Chibi Tono foreground Ale background. Antonio has pink cat ears pink shirt with teal tiger red eyes and bemused expression going "nothing's working..." with teal underline. This last one involves themes in the upcoming game and series as a whole! I learned oekaki boards have become uncommon, so I'm glad cinni's one (part of Neocities) sparked interest back up! Here's a thread of others I've read are active in 2025.

His hair is dark and very short in a stylish, choppy way. Both twins' irises are red.

Unlike my Alejandro he has short dark hair!!! Antonio says short hair is popular for guys and butches in his era on Earth. Except in the animes. Odd. Antonio's hair is a little badly cut maybe but sort of like mine, dark and falling around his face. He has normal brown eyes that look way too gushy.

The sky is bright blue behind them! At the bottom his Alejandro wrote 'Love you. XOXO' and two sharp hearts, signed 'a.c.' Antonio replies 'Me too! @ you Alejandro!' with a blush sticker like emoticon by 'Me too!' and signs his name in a way that smudges the Kh-- and G---.

They scrawled some pen marks and his Alejandro wrote 'whoops' next to his. Lol.

Text past the selfie. Here's a selfie from when Antonio K. and his Alejandro were chiillin'! He said they tried out 'instant cameras' again. That's why I can see them. :D

They stopped being popular after their '9990's.' Except their decade was right before 'year 2000.' He said he took this after 'the 2010's.' I wonder which year? Can't remember anymore. -_-; Oops...

Unlike in the sectioned sketch dropped prior which had an ocean motif, there's an aqua-teal line separating the characters from the other parts of the sketch.

bothered today, so here's a 2000's era alejandro sketch i wasn't planning to share for a long time.

this sketch won't be relevant for a really long time. got the concept in my head after drawing the 2010's to 2020's antonio sketch, but wasn't totally satisfied. decided to go ahead and finish it tonight anyway. finished between 06/21 to 06/22/2025.

(for people who keep track of the side stories i've been releasing, just a reminder that 2010's antonio references being with alejandro, and i said 2000's alejandro above.)

...AND. As noted eslewhere, and below this upcoming comic, I comitted a Layla design sin. It is time to begin acknowledging it...!

Alia goes, 'How are both eyes red...?' in alarm, while Layla in the middle shockingly has two red eyes. Layla has ????? written by her. Their mentor also repeats, 'Layla's...? They're both red?' Behind all three are inscriptions regarding their name. By Alia it says in dark blue, matching her shirt, 'the righteous one, alia atif-akinyemi.' By their mentor it says 'the mentor who's always been wondering what the hell you're doing like i've been wondering myself too and ... saki.' Alia has a lot of blue curls around her and red eyes. Their mentor has falling silver dreads around them and wears a trans-vibin' baby blue and pink jacket above a stylish sweater-type shirt. Layla has wavy silver hair and wears a tanktop. In the top panel Layla appears lackadaisical, while in the bottom panel she's intense as she reveals her silver eye is still there, with a red little fairy baby with green skirty look all glowing with a very elaborate graphical-style line design within a golden circular ring popping out by her eye that zaps with a light to show the magical illusion. She proclaims, 'So you both notice little things about me...! Duh!' Then she says, 'This is a magic trick created by your own witchy brother, Alia, millennia ago...!' On the bottom left it says 'Spectral-eyed people cannot simply wear contacts to hide their eye color.'

Ranvir Chandrani is pulling Armando [Herrera-]Rivera closer to him while apparently trying to show off or talk about something in a book. Armando is smiling softly at him, seeming pretty cool about it. Armando has a warm expression while Ranvir seems a bit amused or wanting to laugh about something. Ranvir wears an aquamarine panjabi with blue shirt collar lining and buttons, with the usual sword-like/half diamond pattern going down. Armando wears a lavender shirt with violet sleeves. It has a rose design on his left side over the chest with some sort of implied text beneath and a green wing-like pattern standing in for leaves. there's some sort of red threading beneath his shirt collar. the fancy frame is only because bsky dislikes smaller images, but since it looked pretty curious, i decided to drop it here too. since it's pride month, i might dedicate a bit of time to drawing more romo sketches (especially because i've been wanting to, since blue horizon is pretty romantasy-vibin'), so here's to the start of that. hopefully i'll be able to. drawn 06/01 to 06/02/2025. (will try to start dating these better, maybe.)
